New Abalone and Mother of Pearl Jewelry

I have been working for months on a limited run collection of mother of pearl and abalone jewelry. My first few pieces hit the shop this week and I couldn’t be more excited!

Green Abalone MOP Chunk Drop Earrings

Somehow I made a connection with a pearl dealer who has the most incredible abalone shell that I have ever seen! Red Abalone has flashes of pink, red, green & blue. Dark green abalone with deep navy blues, black and gold flashes and even (my favorite) Mexico Green Abalone shell that is mostly cream but has pockets of pink, black, purple & green. It’s all so beautiful!

And while I just LOVE an big chunky drop earring, especially one that is so flashy like the super reflective iridescent finish of the abalone shell and the mother of pearl, I can’t forget about my friends that prefer a post earring. I’ve made post earrings using the mother of pearl and super special abalone shell, in both large and small sizes.
